The 2019 Canada FinTech Forum is offering nine emerging FinTech start-ups the opportunity to increase their visibility in the financial services industry including investors and strategic partners.

Each company selected will have five minutes on the main stage of the event to present their business and technology, as well as have a chance to receive an investment offer of $CAD 1M or a $CAD 25,000 cash prize in front of Canada’s largest FinTech gathering.

Our selection team includes some of Canada’s leading Fintech investors and financial institutions.Your company will receive exposure to these individuals regardless of being selected to pitch on stage!

Members of the selection committee will be evaluating applications throughout the application period. The sooner you apply, the more likely you are to get one of those prizes. We will contact you during the summer if you’re selected for those prizes.

• Financing oppotunity:Portag3 Ventures will invest up to $CAD 1M in a FinTech company participating in the 2019 Canada FinTech Forum’s pitch contest.¹

• Cash prize:The judges at the event will comment each pitch and decide the winner of the $CAD 25,000 cash prize offered by Finance Montréal.

• Public prize:The audience will vote with the mobile app for their favorite company that will win a value of $CAD 5,000 in rent for an office at the Montreal FinTech Station.
